Predictive Maintenance

In order to stay ahead of the game in the world of maintenance, we need to embrace innovation. That’s why we’re incorporating, integrating, and reusing cutting-edge sensors such as CTs, vibrational sensors, and airflow sensors for key equipment like heavy blowers and large compressors that supply air for floor operation. With this approach, we can achieve predictive maintenance on the equipment, optimizing operational efficiency, predicting motor deterioration factors and failure rates, and monitoring current increases due to system vibration exceeding the threshold value.

Our approach utilizes state-of-the-art hardware with high-frequency metering, controllers, and a Sub-GHz Radio Frequency (RF) communication framework to log energy data at an impressive sampling rate of 4-5KHz. The hardware is capable of measuring critical parameters such as voltage, amperage, power factor, and harmonics. Additionally, it has embedded programming to reduce the sampling rate and uses a Sub-GHz RF communication framework that can send and receive signals up to 3 miles away.

With our advanced algorithm, we can truly understand the pulse or signature of major building equipment, including Heating Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) systems, water heaters, refrigerators, and lighting. This allows us to compare their signatures to healthy equipment operations (anomaly detection vs signature in normal operation). Using this algorithm, we can separate major load consumption and deterioration data based on the equipment’s signature, and create a JSON file with the comparison dataset on an on-demand basis
